Welcome to Allegany State Park!
Among the rolling hills of the Southern Tier lies Allegany State Park, New York State's largest state park. Renowned for its trees and beauty, this natural wonderland has two developed area, Red House and Quaker. Allegany is a four season park with activities and attractions for visitors year round


Allegany is the perfect spot for your next camping trip, whether it be tents, trailers, or cabins. Allegany has it all. Rustic and memerable is the word to descride this beautiful park. It has all the wonders of nature and more.
Directions to the Park
FROM BUFFAOL: Take I-90 to Exit 55 (219) Expressway to end. Make a left at end of ramp and a quick right to end of that road (about 15 miles) turn right go through Ellicotville, Keep on US Rt 219 (in village make a left at the light- take to salamanca. Once you go over the Allegheny River you will see a sign saying Allegany State Park to the left, follow it (for entance via teh senic route keep on that road. (for entrance via expressway get on the I-86 West (Park exits are 19- Red House, 18- Quaker)

FROM ROCHESTER: Take I-390 South to I-86 West (Park exits are 19- Red House, 18- Quaker)

FROM PA: Take Rt 219 North When on the Expessway Section near bradford get off at forman street and go through the city of Bradford turn right on interstate Pkwy, this road will go up a mountian and take you right into New York and you wlll be at the entance to the park.

With Over 65,000 acers and two developed areas,it makes Allegany one of the largest state parks in the NYS system. With over 300 campsites and 27 Cabin trails with over 300 cabins, 90 miles of snowmobile trails, its no wonder why Allegany State Park is the perfect spot to be. Allegany is truley a natures wonderland!
